Wasn’t planning on this but got a call about two hours before the event started. Scrambled to get ready, clean my car and grab a camera. My first time to this one so I was surprised . Another surprise was my wife even wanted to go. There were DJ’s and a band at various locations as well as food vendors, t-shirt sales and the like. Police had many streets shut down so getting there was interesting. Hope you enjoy the pictures. I only got shots of a small portion of the cars because we were hanging out with friends and family at the cruise.
This 1969 Camaro SS is owned by Dan a friend of the family. Its a super nice car in awesome condition.
I love the houndstooth interior.
Perfect down to the wheels and tires.
His son Joel brought his 380hp GMMG/Berger Camaro.
And now for some of the other cars from the cruise. If I’d been by myself I’d have had another 100 pics.
A very nice Chevy pickup owned by Greg a friend of Dan and Joel. It has one of the best DIY matt finishes I’ve ever seen. They are usually inconsistent, this one was so nice. Not babied, I could tell when he threw his chairs in the bed after the show was over. I like that.
This Fox body Mustang is owned by another friend of Dan’s. The guy is the original owner.
All in all it was a fun time. Got decent burgers for dinner and listened to one of the bands while eating. Better than sitting at home where we were hoping things would dry enough to work in the yard. Had a perfect window of time for the show and it started to rain again when we got home. Ideal timing.
All pictures were taken with a Pentax Q7 with the 02 standard zoom 5-15mm which is a 23-69mm equivalent in 35mm format.

No, I drove my Audi. It was mainly domestics so I sat out. My 3.2 R32 type motor would have only impressed a few people there. Joel’s Camaro is way faster and I could only marginally outrun the 396. The Berger SS if I recall runs in the 13's. If I ever get to spend a little more on my car I’ll drop into the high 13's. I’ve been telling him he needs to drive my car some time.
